An Elegant Wedding & Event Venue Located In Sevierville, TN Near The Great Smoky Mountains

An idyllic wedding venue located in Sevierville, Tennessee near Wilderness at The Smokies, we’re just a short, 30-minute drive from downtown Knoxville. This unspoiled 1880s country estate in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains sits on a hilltop overlooking the Little Pigeon River.

Dreams became a reality in early autumn of 2013 when work began in earnest on the 140 year-old property. By the following spring, Swann Stables was ready to welcome guests. Now fully restored, the beautiful mix of old and new showcases the best of southern charm and elegance.

A winding, curved driveway from Old Knoxville Highway leads directly to the carriage house. After emerging from there, you should spend some time meandering the grounds to take in the full beauty.

The two-story Victorian-era tripartite house is filled with many late-19th-century architectural elements original to the home including hardwood floors, transom windows, 16-foot ceilings, stained-glass work, and handmade brick fireplaces.

A large horse barn with many modern comforts creates a rustic elegance for bridal party and couple portraits or wedding ceremonies. The rolling hills of Swann Stables hold other notable points of interest, including a two-bedroom guest house, a dairy barn, smokehouse, horse pastures and our recently renovated milk parlor.
